Academy Standouts highlights the players who performed best in the most recent week of NA Academy play. I’ll discuss a few of the most noteworthy standouts, then list some other players whose performances caught my eye below.

Diamond, Support, FlyQuest Academy
A big playmaking week from Diamond couldn’t salvage more than 1 win in 4 games for FlyQuest Academy, but it was more than enough to catch my eye. He led 2v2 kills, made roaming ganks, and set up key picks as Leona, Thresh, and Lux.
Armao, Jungle, Team Liquid Academy
Armao’s week was highlighted by a massive Hecarim snowball against FlyQuest Academy, featuring some nice ganks, good lane coverage, and big engages. He also carried a game on Viego against CLG.
Copy, Mid, Cloud9 Academy
C9’s mid lane prospect showed up again with 8- and 9-kill games on Corki and Orianna against TSM Academy, and another good Corki against CLG. Copy has grown into one of the strongest prospects in Academy, and could push for an LCS spot before too long if he continues to play well.
