Data-Flow Resumption

Data is flowing into the Oracle’s Elixir databases again, and it should be more or less complete. But I guarantee there will be website bugs and cases of the wrong players/teams being assigned to games etc.

If you spot any issues, head to the OE Discord and let me know in the #data-and-coding channel, please!

Data Disruptions

Due to staffing changes at Leaguepedia, the flow of match data to OE has been disrupted. Until a new solution is in place, match data will not be flowing (beginning with Aug 4, 2022 matches).

Rest assured that data will begin flowing again, but the timeline is unclear. I have multiple options to get things up and running again, but I haven’t settled on a specific solution yet, and I’m waiting on some information about the future of the wiki.

Depending how things play out, some data points may become unavailable, such as pick orders and some player biographical information, but I don’t expect there to be much reduction of data quality in the long term.

For questions and updates, head to the OE Discord as usual!

July 8 Maintenance: Expect data delays

There will be maintenance taking place on the Oracle’s Elixir data processing infrastructure on July 8 during the middle of the day, Pacific time.

The website will continue to function as normal, but there may be delays around fetching and processing new data for Friday’s games.

Everything should be caught up and back to normal by end of day Friday.

EDIT: Maintenance is complete. Please message Tim on the OE Discord if you find any issues or data delays/outages.
