How to take effective notes as a League of Legends analyst
Here’s a quick overview of how I take notes on League of Legends games, and how I use them to make sure I can find trends and useful observations about players and teams efficiently and accurately.
AC/AM Standouts: 2021 Spring, Week 8
AC/AM Standouts highlights the players who performed best in the most recent week of NA Academy and amateur play. I’ll discuss a few of the most noteworthy standouts, then list some other players whose performances caught my eye below.
Shiro, Bot, Evil Geniuses Prodigies
EGP’s bot laner has been holding down a spot in the top 3 NA amateur prospects throughout the year, and his play in the Giant Slayer Gauntlet so far is showing why. He exploded on games of Samira and Kai’sa against Winthrop University, and he outshone Prismal of Golden Guardians Academy in a 2-0 series win, which is no easy task.

The break between the Unified Grand Prix and Giant Slayer Gauntlet seems to be have a good reset for Shiro, whose play had been falling off a little along with his team’s overall performance, and he returned to the Rift with a vengeance this week.
