Team Roccat announced today that they have re-signed Norwegian Mid laner nukeduck for the 2016 season.
In a region packed with strong Mid laners, nukeduck holds his own, with an impressive 4.9 KDA and stronger laning stats than players like Febiven, Ryu, PePiiNeRO, and PowerOfEvil.
Roccat has now confirmed three returning players from the 2015 roster, with nukeduck joining the team’s Jungler, Jankos, and Support, Vander.
For the first time in League of Legends history, two Korean teams will face off for the Summoners Cup. This Saturday, SK Telecom T1 and the KOO Tigers will take the stage, and when it’s over we will crown the victors, celebrating a third consecutive Korean World Champion.
The Story so Far
The SK Telecom franchise is hunting for its second world title, after Faker and Bengi earned the Summoner’s Cup in Season 3 with a different set of teammates. They’re exceeding that 2013 performance so far, on target for the first ever undefeated World Championships run. But SKT’s 12-0 record at Worlds might not even be their most impressive accomplishment so far this year.
It’s the head-to-head matchup everyone is talking about, the Top lane showdown between SK Telecom T1’s MaRin and the KOO Tigers’ Smeb. Here’s an overview of how the two players stack up statistically.
All stats based on 2015 World Championships, including group stage, Quarterfinals, and Semifinals, unless otherwise specified.
