Contractz dominated FlyQuest Academy with a pair of Nidalee games where he exerted relentless pressure all around the map, especially working around Tony Top’s Camille and Jax picks to set up the side-laning win condition. His Nidalee javelins around the Baron pit in game 1 changed the story of the series, and his play overall was the main factor behind EGA’s upset over FLYA and their advancement in the upper bracket.

Shiro, Bot, Evil Geniuses Prodigies
EGP’s bot laner has been holding down a spot in the top 3 NA amateur prospects throughout the year, and his play in the Giant Slayer Gauntlet so far is showing why. He exploded on games of Samira and Kai’sa against Winthrop University, and he outshone Prismal of Golden Guardians Academy in a 2-0 series win, which is no easy task.

The break between the Unified Grand Prix and Giant Slayer Gauntlet seems to be have a good reset for Shiro, whose play had been falling off a little along with his team’s overall performance, and he returned to the Rift with a vengeance this week.
